R&D Wedding

R&D’s wedding was a legendary celebration of love, laughter, and fandom flair—an unforgettable Brooklyn Nine-Nine–themed affair at The Drift Santa Barbara that perfectly reflected their playful spirit. Held on 9/9, the day featured a full-on Wedding Heist where guests raced to steal “the Crown,” collect fandom-inspired Relics, and become the Queen Bee—a nod to Bumble, where the couple first met. With toit nups, karaoke to “I Want It That Way,” Picante beef ramen favors, and references to Friends, How I Met Your Mother, Harry Potter, and Lord of the Rings, the day was filled with joyful chaos and heartfelt touches, blending Filipino and Greek traditions with clever fandom fun. It was truly a wedding as unique, hilarious, and heartfelt as their love story.
