I’ve always loved the part of a production where a hundred moving pieces somehow become one cohesive story.
After graduating from film school, I spent years working in reality television as a production manager, where I discovered that I genuinely love logistics. Give me a complicated schedule, a million moving parts, and a creative vision to bring to life, and I’m happy.
I loved the balance of creativity and structure... but after years of working behind the curtain, organizing other people’s creative visions, I realized I really missed creating something of my own.
Then my mom was diagnosed with cancer.
She told me she had two wishes: to see me get married and to go on one final, unforgettable adventure with our whole family.
While planning my own wedding and honeymoon, something clicked. My husband and I are lifelong nerds who bonded over countless fandoms, so naturally, we decided our wedding should be unapologetically us. And while planning both that wedding and our family’s big multigenerational adventure, I kept seeing the same gap:
There were so many ways to plan a wedding or vacation, but far fewer ways to create something deeply personal, creative, and a little fantastical. So I decided to build it myself.
That’s how Fantastical Adventures was born: a place where storytelling, creativity, and heartfelt connection meet thoughtful logistics and planning.
One week after our family adventure, my mom passed away, having fulfilled both of those final wishes. That experience changed how I think about what I do.
This isn’t just about planning weddings, events, or trips.
It’s about helping people make the most of the stories they’re living right now.
It’s about creating the memories, celebrating the people we love, and sometimes taking the adventure while we still can.
