My Commitment to
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

Everyone deserves to feel like they belong in the story.

At Fantastical Adventures, I believe everyone deserves to celebrate, explore, travel, and create memories while feeling welcomed, respected, safe, and genuinely seen. Your wedding, event, or adventure should feel like yours, not like you have to edit yourself, your identity, your family, or your traditions to fit someone else’s idea of what it’s “supposed” to look like.

I work with people of all backgrounds, identities, cultures, and lived experiences. That includes people of every race, ethnicity, nationality, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, religion or lack thereof, age, body size, ability, family structure, and relationship structure.

Love, celebration, adventure, and belonging aren't limited to one type of person.

As a queer woman, I know firsthand how meaningful it can be to walk into a space and know that you don't have to explain or defend who you are. I also know how quickly a supposedly “inclusive” experience can stop feeling that way when the right boxes aren't checked, or when someone makes assumptions about your relationship, your family, your body, your beliefs, or your needs. That perspective influences how I run Fantastical Adventures.

It shows up in the language I use, the questions I ask, the way I approach the planning process, and the vendors, venues, accommodations, and travel suppliers I recommend. I make an intentional effort to connect my clients with businesses and partners who share these values and create welcoming experiences for their clients and guests.

And accessibility matters, too. Inclusion isn't just about who gets invited to the party. It's also about whether people can actually participate once they're there. I strive to consider accessibility and individual needs throughout the planning process, from venues and transportation to guest experiences and the little details that can make a big difference.

I also believe that inclusion isn't something you get to check off a list and declare finished.

I'm still learning. I'm still listening. And I'm still growing.

I pursue continuing education, seek out perspectives different from my own, build relationships with inclusive vendors and suppliers, and pay attention when clients and community members tell me where I can do better. I'm not going to pretend I'll get everything perfect every time, but I can promise that I'm committed to continuing the work.

Because ultimately, I don't just want to plan beautiful weddings, thoughtful events, or incredible trips. I want to create experiences where you can show up as your whole self.

Bring your culture. Bring your traditions. Bring your chosen family. Bring your partner. Bring your pronouns. Bring your accessibility needs. Bring your religion, or your complete lack of one. Bring your fandoms, your weird ideas, your complicated family dynamics, your big feelings, and all the things that make your story yours.

You don't have to leave pieces of yourself at the door.

Everyone deserves an adventure.
Everyone deserves a celebration.
Everyone belongs here.
